You’re only given a little spark of madness. You mustn’t lose it. - Robin Williams
the Paige of ALL trades
It’s nice to meet you, I’m Paige. Actually, I’m Elizabeth Paige, but that’s another story. I am a Virtual Assistant, bookworm, dog mum, and hoarder of house plants. I am passionate about girls, gays, and theys having dreams and living boldly. I believe that courage can only be rewarded with positivity, and those I work for are products of that.
My business was born from, struggle, to be frank. In 2018 I found myself the typical burnt-out employee. I had health issues, hated my job, hated my life, and honestly wasn’t too fond of myself. I quit my full-time job, started my business, and found about 4 part-time jobs to support myself while I chased some dream that I hadn’t completely conceptualized yet. It was working-ish. I had graphic and web design clients and those four part-time jobs. Then 2020 happened. In a week I had lost all my client work, and nearly every source of income I had became non-existent. It was the very first time in my life I had nothing to do, nowhere to go, and nothing to achieve. It was the first time I’d been still.
Now, I’d love to say that this career was something I spent hours thinking about and dreaming about, but it wasn’t. In August 2020, one of my 2 existing clients reached out and asked me if I was interested in working as a Virtual Assistant for a friend of hers. She said she knew that wasn’t really what I did, but everything they needed seemed like something I could do or had done before.
I should mention, I am a ‘fake it till I make it’ kinda gal, so I took the call. Shoutout to Jillie Johnston, who was my first VA client and is still one today. I love you, friend. Suddenly, I had inquiries left and right, and by the end of 2020, I had 10 consistent clients. If that isn’t a lesson that success comes RIGHT before you give up, I don’t know what is. By the end of 2021, I had tripled my income from 2020, introduced retainers, and had 17 consistent clients. In 2022, I’m projecting to double last year’s revenue, and I have raised my prices twice. That’s incredibly strange to put into words.
Enough with the business shit, and a little more about me. I was born in Denver, Co, and spent my early life living here. I love the sunshine. My other love is water, when in elementary school my family moved to Minnesota, where my mother is from. If you’re a bit unfamiliar, MN lacks sunshine, but what it lacks in sun it makes up for with water. Although it’s easy to rag on, MN brought me my significant other and most of my very best friends. Mid-westerners can go anywhere in the world, and make friends from the region. It’s a strange club I feel very lucky to belong to. My partner, Brandyn, and I moved to Denver in 2015, and this state has been very good to us. Quite a few of our friends followed us to the sunshine, and we’ve created such a lovely life here. After dating for 10 years, Brandyn and I got engaged in Amsterdam in 2022. We’re hoping the engagement will satiate everyone for a while and we can think about getting married in another 10! Hahaha! We also got ourselves a puppy this year. Her name is Ginny, and yes, she’s a Weasley.

I am in love with helping to make people’s dreams come true and taking things off of the plates of working women. It’s my thing, and I don’t think I’ll ever get enough. I have had the pleasure of working with some incredibly talented and inspiring people in this job, and I can’t believe the ride it has been. I’m not a believer in coincidences though, instead, I choose to believe that the universe conspired in my favor, as a thank-you for my bravery and courage to make something different for myself and my little family.
Cheers to the good life, my friends!
